I tried search, but +gt +gas +cap are all too short...
Anyone know a source for a GT-style gas cap? When I get my car out of storage, I'm thinking about cutting a hole in the hood... |

According to Eric Shea, you can get this cap from Wolfburg West for $15 Without the tab. You then have to get the neck off a VW Bug gas tank to fit to the 914 .

You then have to get the neck off a VW Bug gas tank to fit to the 914 . It has to be an early-early VW gas neck. As in, split and/or oval window years. I have such a neck and cap available, Just have to cut the neck off the tank ......... Make me an offer! The Cap'n |
