So I have a 70'-4. After looking at some build threads of cars about 73', I realized that under the dash, my car doesnt have the cutouts for the heater tubes. I'm talking about the ones to the left of the steering wheel, just above the fuse panel.

Is it different on the early cars? Should I simply cut these myself?

It looks like the lower part is there, I think you're mistaking the fresh air vent cutouts for heater cutouts.
