Any one in the twin cities know a good mechcanic, fairly priced, who would work on my 2.0 914? It needs a valve job at least. Maybe an engine rebuild.

with all apologies to all mechanics out there, the ones i have ever had work on my car (any of my cars) are all shysters.
they look you over, decide how much you will pay to get your car back after they've done a half-ass job, and shrug their shoulders when the deal is done. there is only one exception. they only do light repairs, they're downtown minneapolis. why do you think you need a valve job or worse? |
