I have an intermittant relay installed. I continue to get mystery wipes when makiing a sharp turn--not always, just occasionally. These mystery wipes seem to always occur when the windshield has just enough grime to really mess up the view.
OK: Could I be grounding the wiper switch when turning the wheel, or does the intermittant relay just go bonkers and give free wipes at its descetion ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Who's figured this out ? |

It could also be in the wiper motor. There is a contact that "parks" the wiper. If something is shorting that contact, the wipers will come on until they park again.
