i am going to fab the rotisserie arms for the car this weekend and may as well do the door braces at the same time , could you show me how you have built yours and where you have mounted them to please

No pic but the best way imo is to make a turnbuckle style that bolts to the door latch and on the front end to the door mount ( s ). Adding a turnbuckle in the middle allows for adjustment if your car is sagging a bit with the doors open. A cross or " X " brace is also a really good idea to prevent the chassis from twisting. That can be done by welding tabs onto each door brace and bolting the X to them once the braces are installed.
