on eBay again in April 2009:

Up for sale is a numbers matching true 914/6 that has had an engine fire. I have the Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche stating that the engine came with this car. I purchased this some time ago but have too many projects so this must go! The car is mostly complete. I have a NOS complete rear trunk section and outer rocker that come with the car, but If you do not pick up the car I do not know how you would get this back, possibly the carrier or ship on a pallet. The engine is complete and disassembled by previous owner. The car rolls fine. The dash is
good no cracks. All parts tubs are included. Small parts removed and put into tub such as headlights and tail lights. The car has a black interior in good condition, I removed it for storage. The car comes with a CLEAR ILLINOIS title. There are no heat exchangers with the car. This is NOT a parts car so don't ask for parts I will not respond. This car must be restored! The car comes with steel wheels, no Fuchs!
