Friend wants to transport a chevy pickup truck from AZ to NJ. Any reckomendations for an inexpensive open carrier?

The less you pay, the worse the real service will be.
They may or may not actually pick up the car on the appointed schedule...that gets iffy. They will most certainly NOT deliver the car on the day promised...and they will call you (maybe) to give you all sorts of excuses ...truck broke etc.... We have shipped alot of cars to and from my place and I suggest you pay the little bit extra and get some guarantees of timing unless you are unemployed and have no issues with waiting for days (yes days) until the car actually shows up. We has on that was 4 days late...they told us every day it was coming that day...then it would not show up...no one would return phone calls...it sucked. Be careful up front and tell them you actually have a life and you cant wait for them to deliver it sometime...but they need to offer MONEY if they do not deliver as scheduled. That is the only way I do it now. If give them a 6 hour window...then money goes back into my pocket, and I get that on paper. Rich |
