I intend to buy this kit and attach it under the dash. In broad strokes my plan is to run the cable either under the gas tank and back in the cockpit in front of the pedal cluster, or inside along the chassis going forward and over the gas pedal. Then it'll attach it to the front of the gas pedal linkage plate on the cluster. A little pull on the near-hidden knob will pull the linkage assembly forward and I should get an increased idle until warm. Viola, instant choke.
Not all pieces will be used. Most likely just the bracket and cable with handle. The rest will come from the hardware store. Attached image(s) ![]() |
