I have a friend who has an original 914-6 engine with tins and carbs for sale and thought I would put the info out. It would be nice to see this engine go back into a 914-6 where it belongs. He wants 3K for it and if you are intertested email me here on the 914 world site or email me at ronniejcarr@yahoo.com

both 1970 914/6 engines. 901/37 Should have Weber 40 IDAs. Interesting, how do you decode the engine number? You buy Wayne Dempsey's book ..."How to Rebuild and Modify Porsche 911 Engines". Each year has specifics on the Serial Number and Type. The number only tells you how it left the factory ... not what's been done to it in 40 years. |
