Can someone with a soda blaster and some trashed headlight bezel(s) see if soda will take off stains and paint without damaging the plastic? I'm curious. I have neither a soda blaster nor a sacrificial headlight bezel. I do, however, have a car with headlight bezels which were painted black at one point in its lifetime. I'd like to know if there is any hope for them being restored to their original whiteness or if I should start looking for a new set.
Thanks, Skip |

If you have an air compressor, you really can just do it yourself in about 30 minutes. Just do it outside, and the rain (or hose) will wash out the soda.
if you don't have a compressor, this is *just* the kind of excuse you need to go get one. They really do make life easier in the garage. Zach |

My brother-in-law is a contractor and has a couple compressors similar to this for running nail guns and such. Would that be sufficient (powerful enough) to use for soda blasting? If so, what else would I need to lay my hands on to use it? Note: I have never, ever used an air compressor, not even the little K-Mart things to inflate spare tires. I have no idea what all goes into making a working setup. S |

Blasting takes a fair bit of air. And once you have a compressor, you find there are a ton of tools that you want to use with it. Zach |
