Mark the group buy king, dropped his car off last week. I will get a good run at it next week, but for now I will post the beginning pics. I pulled his tank to take to the refinishers and OHHHH BOY what 20 years does to gas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) More pics to come next week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Since there seems to be very little rust to deal with it will allow me to spend more time than usual on the body and paint work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I also seriously doubt it was stolen. I believe you can get a title for it after they run a title search on the correct vin. Titles get lost all the time. Be patient though. I've been through it already in California. Took me 3 months and 10 phone calls to get it. After 3 years California throws away all their records. My car was nowhere in the system. Finally talked to the right lady and she hooked me up with a title.

I have a title (in my name) that matches the vin on the car and I had the car registered in the past so I'm not worried about registering it again. It's just the true date of the car caught me by surprise. I'm not going to worry about something that happened 25 years ago. |
