Mark the group buy king, dropped his car off last week. I will get a good run at it next week, but for now I will post the beginning pics. I pulled his tank to take to the refinishers and OHHHH BOY what 20 years does to gas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) More pics to come next week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Since there seems to be very little rust to deal with it will allow me to spend more time than usual on the body and paint work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Jup,
That's a big assed Addco rear sway bar.... My DAPO had one on the rear of the 1.8 car and NO front bar. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Must have liked living dangerously. The attachment brackets on the bottom bolt of the rear shocks look damaged, I think my link attaches to a horizontal point, not an angled one. The square between the shock and link is definitely Addco. Hey, you gots the rubber in the brackets bolted to the bottom of the trunk floor. Without it, the sway bar crashes rattles and bangs on every bump and pebble. |
