The Yokos I had on it were an odd size 195/65R15 and are worn out on the inside front tread. So I will also have it aligned and corner balanced at Johnson's here in Torrance.
Want to go with 205/60R15s this time and I heard they will fit with no interference. Do you guys recommend that size? I checked and there aren't too many to choose from. What brand / model do you recommend? Use will be touring mainly. Many thanks. Pete |

The stock size on 15" wheels (Mahles and steel were the only stock option in that size, Fuchs were 5.5x14) is 165x15. Very few brands available, Michelin XZX and Vredestein, both expensive. The 195/65x15 is the closest modern size available. If you want to keep near stock gear ratios and speedo accuracy, use the 195's.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) The 165/80-15 is almost identical to the 165SR15 that was on the car. A quick google search has turned up the Kumho 758 for $47.80ea, Nexen SB802 for $45.30, Nankang CX668 for $45 and Sprint + for $93.90. All prices are per tire. |
