The back section of the cable went bad--swelled up and broke the sheath. I have a 75 and the cable goes to the ERG. I've jacked up the rear, removed the pass seat and carpeting over the tunnel.
I assume the cable is pulled from the rear and the opening in the firewall is large enough to pull the attaching ring through as well. Was going to attach some string to the cable. Is there anything more to this ? |

Is there anything more to this ? I did this exact task last night. I have all covers off my tunnel and my pedal cluster removed, so this was easier. The tube at the firewall is short, so you just push it through, getting it feed up the tunnel is a pita and it can get hung up, so I had my son feed it from the firewall and I guided it. Larryj |
