Howdy, folks! Thanks in advance for your help with this. I'm new here and to 914s. I've found this car http://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/1687469145.html and have a question about how bad a situation this might really be. I exchanged a couple of emails with the owner (who is out of town) and asked about the nature of the damage to the rear suspension. It appears that the damage occurred by hitting a curb. Sounds a little scary, but, other than the old mount being repaired or a new one being fitted, this seems pretty straight forward. Any words of advice?

Thanks, again!

That seems like a lot of $$$$ for a damaged car like that. Maybe worth 1K here if everything else was good.

Gotta agree with the folks here. Sometimes the learning curve can be steep and expensive. If you don't mind taking a drive, I'm available for you to stop by and I can show you what to look for on the two cars I have. Nothing like some real hands on experience for the price of a nice drive. PM me if interested.
