So my rear shocks are shot. These are supposed to be direct replacements. They are the right length and bolt dia, but the clip seats are in different places. I will have to move it to get the spring supports right. Is this SOP or should they have be placed correctly at the factory.

Spring weight will determine where you end up putting the clip.
