curious...after my deployment in Iraq my unit will be staying in Germany permanently....so that means I will be there for about a year and change...thinking of buying a teener over there...whats the market like for them down there....if it sucks will just buy a bimmer to blow up...Also...one cool thing is that I can have the teener shipped back to cali when I get out of the army... hi folks,

some words from a real german (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge6.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The 914 is not very popular here in germany, cause it was selled as a vw-porsche and was never broadly
accepted as a real porsche.

In the late 80's and erarly 90' s most of the remaining cars were parted out or wrecked.
Whats left over is in a very good condition or completely crap ...

I'm living in Berlin, which is a city with 3,8 million residents (btw the biggest german city and the german capitol)
with approx. 10 running cars (914's (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) including my teener.
In the southern parts of germany you will find some more cars, but not that much like at the west coast of the u.s.

do it the other way around : re-import some of the famous califonia rust free chassis to germany ...

Btw i will need a pair of rust free doors and a front hood for my /6 restoration project in the near future (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
