Removed the steering wheel and turn signal/wiper switch. How do I get the lock cylinder out tho replace the ignition switch. This is on a 1975 914. Thanks.

You need to remove the upper column to access it, remove the 6mm bolt (lower left on the column) and the "C" clip on the shaft, and the column should slide up and off. The switch is held in place by a screw.
