Hiya. just got finished returning my bosch 09171 plug wire set because it will not fit. I hav heard that superbeetle or typr 3 w/fi will work. For them I get two bosch part numbers 9001 and 9004. Does anyone know if either or both work? How about beru? TIA

Order the Beru set for the 912.
Beru is the OE for Porsche; the quality is much higher than the Bosch parts. Most all of the web-places seem to think that all the 914's take the same set. This is flat wrong; I verified that with the factory!. So... Order the Beru set for the 912. It will fit the 2.0 motor properly. Don't bother with the MagneCore. Now, if only "we" could get people to use the classifieds properly... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) |
