I am thinking about swapping a tachometer from a 911 into my 914-1.8. Any recommendations? Do I have to adjust something in regards to the swap 6 to 4 cyl. Thanks.

The tach reads pulse data than transforms the pulse data to analog data that you see on the Tach.
The tach for the 911 is expecting pulse data in groups of 6 . So it would not work ..... yes it can be modified to work.... but I am not sure how. That is the best I can explain it.... BTW Welcome............ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wavey.gif) |
