This may be a stupid question...however my dad always said the only stupid questions are the ones not asked.
I am converting to a 2.7 six and I wanted to dress up the front compartment a little and add a removable felt covered board above the gas tank to hide the hoses and water bottle etc. I would have a cut out for the filler and the brake. It would be a lot easier to make it fit if I didn't have the expansion tank in place. What do you guys think. |

After completing the conversion from carbs back to stock FI, I made sure to install the charcoal can and related lines etc. since the PO just had the vent tube sitting open to the air under the car.
I noticed right away, no more smell of gas in the garage. NICE! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I'd vote for keeping it all hooked up like it should be. It's embarassing when your car, any car stinks of anything. |
