This may be a stupid question...however my dad always said the only stupid questions are the ones not asked.
I am converting to a 2.7 six and I wanted to dress up the front compartment a little and add a removable felt covered board above the gas tank to hide the hoses and water bottle etc. I would have a cut out for the filler and the brake. It would be a lot easier to make it fit if I didn't have the expansion tank in place. What do you guys think. |

Jflash914 that looks very nice and in line with what I was thinking of doing.
What did you use and do you have any tips ? I was thinking about using 1/4 MDF and felt to match the felt in the trunk. Iwould like to use one piece but I think I may have to use two separate pieces to fit well. I will be covering the rest of the trunk with felt like Porsche did with the 916. To answer the other question I will be keeping the CIS. |
