Does anybody know if VW bug valve retainers will work on a Type 4 engine? My neighbor just ordered a set of chromoly retainers for his bug. He decided not to use them and asked me if I wanted them (he will return them if I don't). Since I am redoing my valvetrain, it is good timing if they would work.
Also, when choosing what valve springs to upgrade to, what seat pressure should I look for. I am building a 2.27l auto-x engine. |

Sounds like a pain. Retainers are not too expensive so i'll just buy a set.
THank you |
