Well, in a light car you don't need the low end any way. building a motor that revs quickly is what's needed. I've successfully run the 901 with a 327 now for a long time and it's okay with my 320HP or so as long as I don't do burn outs.
Taller gears with wider spacing is a plus and that starts absorb some of the torque. So, I'm curious about ratios compared to the 901 and adaptability to the V8 installation. Anybody tried this set up? |
