If you are planning on coming to MUSR 12 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, then please vote for your preferred weekend. Please don't skew the count by voting if you are not planning on coming.
I didn't add any dates later in the month, as we don't want to get too close to Porsche Palooza. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) |

Origin of the MUSR.
Historical event dates, some photos and thanks to Chux Davis, where the 914 pioneers and their interest still shines for you. http://914.pca.org/SIGsiteEventsHistory.html Send Chuxter a thank you note for keeping it stored there for your eyes to see. MikeCool |

MikeCool There is some awesome reading and 914 history in this link, http://914.pca.org/SIGsiteEventsHistory.html We really need to get this updated with the last few rambles. I will see about having Brittney write an article, Clay, can you provide the winners and such. This is too good to just let it fall by the wayside, especially after MUSR11 appears to be the largest and most wel attended so far. |

Hey, Don... Send me a list of the sponsors from MUSR11 and I will post to the main web site. I have thought of making up a MUSR site with archives of the past events. Thought that would be interesting to some. If Brittney writes up an event synopsis, send it to me and I will post.
thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

This is just an opinion so don't anyone feel ruffled. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) but if anyone is ruffled, let the 914World forum honcho's do the thinking. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
Question. What main site is that quoted reply referring to? I personally think that the SIG link I posted is a 914site dedicated to the historical data and see nothing wrong with Clay asking Chuxter or his successor to allow the event history to be updated, if only thru supplying the newer links taht Brittney can probably do very well per Shoe's suggestion. Earlier events recorded should continue from that SIG link given and not copied by anyone especially when it is listed as a PCA link. BTW, about Chuxter, the last I heard, he was active here in one of the 914World managed member forums but which one, I haven't a clue. And as long as I am typing, is that HotShoe in the photo above? (I am thinking I might have snapped the pix with my old Rebel film at that event in Hot Springs but at my age, I do get confused more with every sunrise. MikeCool Hey, Don... Question. What main site is that quoted reply referring to? I refer to the MUSR11 web site that has the info for this year's event on it. I figured since the SIG site hasn't been updated since MUSR 5 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) it wouldn't be updated with MUSR11 info any time soon. This year was my first MUSR and I really enjoyed it and plan on attending others in the future. I helped Clay get the MUSR11 site up and don't mind updating it with past event info. I think if there is a dedicated site for MUSR more people may find it and attend the event. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

This is what I see when using the link you mention.
http://www.musr11.com/ Only see data menus with no buttons to click. Where are the photos?????. IMHO. Teeners should keep our 914 events exclusive here at the 914world.com in the 914 archives. I am usually wrong but seems like we 914teeners might have to pay to see the photos such as the $45 charge mentioned by you for photos on a dvd. Saw only a couple of 914 pixs beyond those Brittney chose to share with all with and there was no charge mentioned unless you wanted to send a small donation so she could get a better camera and ONLY if you wanted to send anything. This is what I see when using the link you mention. http://www.musr11.com/ Only see data menus with no buttons to click. Where are the photos?????. MikeCool When you follow that link, you should get a page listing winners of the MUSR11 914 car show plus special awards. At the bottom of the page is a link to a page listing past MUSR events. To view the images that are on the $45 DVD, check out these links: Friday, Oct 15 Saturday, Oct 16 Sunday, Oct 17 These were taken by a company that makes its money shooting/selling pictures of people driving the Dragon. The owner is a friend of mine. I do not make any money off these photos. Also, I do not have the rights to post them all on the MUSR site (though I will ask if I can post some of them) Keep in mind there are nearly 2000 images of 914s.
