Long story short, a member was supposed to send me an FI system, I paid through Paypal but, 4 months later, haven't gotten the items.
Anyone have experience using paypal to get the money back? The member has not responded to my emails and according to the forum, he hasn't been on in a while. Any recommendations? |

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise. After receiving confirmation that Mr. Pallante received my certified letter, I sent him an email. I stated that I received confirmation that he got the certified letter, had been talking to the clerk of court in his county and planned on filing a small claims action against him pending my next trip stateside which was coming up. I gave him the option to settle this before I did this as I did not think that he really wanted to have to deal with this.
As I am checking my email here at work, my wife sends me a note, Mr. Pallante has just sent me the money that I paid for parts not delivered. Guess I will not have to file my small claims after all. It would have been a pain but it was the principle of the matter. Guess I'll send him a note thanking him for refunding the money and confirming that it was received. Now I can get back to spending money on other ridiculous things that I need to do to my 914 money pit! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Cary, I hope you have an easier time at it than I did; best of luck. |
