We landed in Edmonton late last night and it was so cold the door was frozen shut.
Took about 20 min with a heater to get the door open. -26 C on the ground. There was enough moisture in the grease that it had turned rock hard. So what other bizarre cold stories do you have? |

yep I hear its been cold from my kids in Seattle-20's, power went out too so no heat!
Here its been getting into the low 80's at night, once even 78F which felt cold. During the day is 90F everyday so its cooled off alot since summer.....I even wear jeans now! Coldest snap I ever saw in Seattle was Jan 1969 when Green Lake froze over completely and we drove a VW bug all over the lake chasing the iceskaters around! Yeah, we were drunk. |
