Hello,
Could anyone tell me at what pressure the later, non-adjustable valve should open? I originally thought that it was around 5 bar, but someone is telling me between 10-12 bar. This seems extremely high to me, but I'm certainly no expert. Thanks. |

This seems extremely high to me, but I'm certainly no expert. Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Don't have spec for RSR handy but here are several 911 oil pressure specs and nothing close to 10 bar. 1983 911 SC 4.0 bar @ 90 deg C @ 5000rpm 1991 911 Carrera 6.5 bar @ 90 deg C @ 5000rpm 1995 911 Carrera above 5 bar @ 80-90 deg C @ 5000rpm 2001 911 Carrera 5 bar @ 90 deg C @ 5000rpm 2001 911 GT3 6.3 bar @ 90 deg C @ 5000rpm 2008 911 Carrera S 5 bar @ 90 deg C @ 5000rpm Jim |
