I am trying to figure out, what way to go with this car.I would really like to save it.I am looking for some opions,and advice please.My main concern is rust.Thanks in advance for the help.Jason

If it has personal value to you and you dont mind spending 2-5x what's it's worth - fix it.
1 Learn to weld
2 Have friend weld

If you just want a nice teener to drive, part it, set aside 10K and buy a great car out west.

Bag and tag all the parts you take out so they go back together easier when you get it done. I tagged every wire in the harness so I have a fighting chance. Save your money, sell stuff you don't need on ebay, get a 2nd job.

I'm thinking about purchasing a big compressor, soda and sand blast equipment, needle scaler, rotisserie, ect. to make a paint and rust removal station for my white car and other teeners in the local area who want to strip car for rust repair and paint. Resonable fee to bring cars over and use equipment. I live in the woods so noise and dust isn't an issue. Car could then be sprayed with an etch primer or washed with a product like PickleX. Then car would be safe from future rust while waiting for rust repair and paint.
