This is the differential of car velocities and the different line that the F1's take in comparison to the FIA cars. The F1 drivers need the reflexes of a Raptor jet pilot.

F1 vs FIA GT isn’t a very fair match up in any decade. F1 vs LMP 900 would make a lot more sense. And that’s without the whole sprint vs endurance aspect.
