This is the differential of car velocities and the different line that the F1's take in comparison to the FIA cars. The F1 drivers need the reflexes of a Raptor jet pilot.

"Looking more closely at the two videos, the GT footage is through a normal lens while the F1 is through a wide angle lens. The reason the F1 cars appear so much faster when entering the frame is because of the "fisheye" affect of that lens. If the images are cropped to only show what is captured in the center of the lens, say from about the left hander to the top of the hill, the difference isn't nearly as shocking. Very pronounced, indeed, but nothing like that first entry into the viewing frame suggests." |
