I am working on building a 914 GT conversion. I am trying to duplicate the front GT oil cooler sheet metal ducting. I am considering buying a low cost fiberglass replica to use to make a steel version of it. Does anyone a better idea of how to approach this?

Also to the thread starter ........... it looks like you have good skills and may already know this method ........... but mocking stuff up in cardboard is an easy way to get fairly decent patterns, to then transfer onto steel. It is easy to cut, get small details and easy to 'start over' ..... if you make a mistake.
