I have been thinking about using a 911 center console from an SC or 80s Carrera for my 914. Make a plate to cover the storage bin for the gauges.

yes, I saw those tabs on the pic I posted, just wondered if TC did anything different.
I am going to go looking for a console and will report back how it works. From TCs pic it appears to fit just about like it does on a 911. Just need to fab up a face plate to mount the gauges to, and then figure how to mount the face plate to the console... Having one in hand will make the visualization a bit easier (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
