Just wondering what the alternative replacement fuel pump for a Stock FI system is?

It's hard to find a Stock fuel pump for decent prices since they are no longer avaialbe and most are rebuilt or refurbished.

Anyone?

Thanks

Just about any FI pump will work (except for the direct injection pumps of course).

The stock systems run far lower fuel pressure than the new auto's.

Hey, saw your car yesterday. Looking very good. I LOVE the boxter muffler. I just have to (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) you for cutting an early valance !

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I was looking at fuel pumps on Summit Racing the other night and it occurred to me that there are a lot of pumps that should be perfectly suitable as replacements, despite the mounting complications.

Thank's Jeff, that's a fiberglass valance. I picked it up at the parts heavan swap meet a couple years ago.
I still need to get the front valance and the rockers put on. I am going to modify the rockers so I've been waiting to put them on.

McMark, I am running a summit racing FP. it is their brand name pump. It works good but is noisy as heck. I have it mounted under the fuel tank. I ended up wrapping it in a rubber sleeve to quiet it down. That made a world of difference.

I am running 43psi injectors and it works great. It would work perfect for the stock FP these cars run.
