I did a search looking for new type iv heads and came up with these.
SCAT VW- Split-Port Cylinder Heads Has anyone used these, they look like would keep the hreads cooler. Attached image(s) ![]() |

They're used for 1/2 VW aircraft engine conversions for experiemntal aircraft and ultralites. There used to be a shit hole company called Mosler who produced these engines. I was one of the unlucky recipients of one of their piece of shit engines. I had a full VW based 4 cyl with these Scat heads on it. It was so bad I never even tried to start it, long story!
