Its flaking off and the red plastic underneath is revealing itself. At first glance it looks like red over spray. I can't get a photo now they are in my attic. Is this common? Time to replace or can the be painted/plated?

Euro 911, when you painted yours did you drill out the rivets and pull it off and paint it? Or just tape it off and spray?
Just curious. I thought about pulling mine off and checking with some past colleagues and seeing if they can vacuum new foil on it. Not sure how it would look or turn out... |
