I have added a electronic speedo to my subaru 914 car and just used the stock VSS Subaru pulse sender. It really makes for a good speedometer. It is very accurate after you program it. On my V8 car I used a small inline pulse sender and cut a speedometer cable about a inch long and mounted the sender on the end of it.
Heres a picture of the speedo in the Subaru car got it at Summit racing about $70 ![]() |
