Hello to all. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what thread pitch for the M8 hex bolt that works with the front sway bar reinforcement plate? The reason I ask is that I purchased OEM 914-501-162-10 and went down to my local ACE hardware store and none of thier M8 worked (1.00 or 1.25 thread pitch????)

I called AA after purchasing these plates and they can't or won't tell me what is the correct pitch. I've purchased parts from AA in the past and this is the first time that no one can tell me what thread pitch.

Any help would be appreciated, I've pulled the gas tank, made the modifications and shortly will be working on the SS fuel line, but wanted to finish the sway bar project before embarking down the center tunnel...

thanks,

Fern (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

Fern,

Can you tap out the nuts? Sucks since everything is welded. I used Engman and everything went beautifully.

I hope you are able to resolve this easily. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
