F/Sway Bar Reinforcement Plate Metric Hex Bolts, M8x???? Options

Hello to all. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what thread pitch for the M8 hex bolt that works with the front sway bar reinforcement plate? The reason I ask is that I purchased OEM 914-501-162-10 and went down to my local ACE hardware store and none of thier M8 worked (1.00 or 1.25 thread pitch????)

I called AA after purchasing these plates and they can't or won't tell me what is the correct pitch. I've purchased parts from AA in the past and this is the first time that no one can tell me what thread pitch.

Any help would be appreciated, I've pulled the gas tank, made the modifications and shortly will be working on the SS fuel line, but wanted to finish the sway bar project before embarking down the center tunnel...

I've put in a ton of plates from our Member Vendors and never had anything but 8mm x 1.25. If you've got these 'Porshit' plates on the shelf George, YOU need to send them back and start stocking the right parts. Engman's plates may be thicker, but at least they use the correct hardware.

And I'm not in a bad mood in general, I'm just tired of our forum being polluted with the same old stories of your horrible customer service. Honestly, your reputation gets closer and closer to Motor Meister every day.
