Never owned one....will be used for both digital still evidence storage, display of pics for supervisors, DA and review in the field, court room presentations...yada yada.....
Wireless capability, long lived battery life...etc.... I CAN use it for personal use so other bells and whistles like DVD/CD Burner...... Dell quoted 3800....my budget is 2500.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif) Don't want to have to come out of pocket...much.... |

Look at another laptop from Dell... you can get a decent configuration in your price range... we buy 100s' of them around here for windows laptops now. I am on my second one and never had a problem.. this one has even been dropped to the pavement and come out O.K. Screen resolution and clarity are fantastic.
I ditched the floppy drive in favor of a second battery for added lifetime away from the plug. You don't need a floppy these days with wireless connections and the USB memory stick "hard drives". |
