I'm new here ... Group: Members Posts: 0 Joined: 15-January 09 From: Exeter, NH Member No.: 9,932 Region Association: North East States |
'75 1.8 for sale. Malaga Red, 82k miles, motor is strong and runs well on original fuel injection. Needs new clutch- clutch is likely original so hopefully flywheel can be saved. Left front caliper is sticking periodically. I think that is the only one. The rotors and pads are in essentially new condition, but the car has been sitting since June, 2009. This car is NOT without rust, but overall there is very little: area in front of the tail lights in rear trunk, front trunk in the channel for the rubber seal, some areas in the outer longitudinals under the car, but these are not bad, heater boxes also have some (but they can be saved). Suspension, shocks, gearbox are all very good. Pans and doors are good also. Car has Porsche 911 Recaro cloth seats bolted in by early 911 rails. Interior is excellent overall, except: original carpeting okay, but not great, very small crack in dash. All the lights and guages work fine.
Had the usual plan to finish a restoration. I now realize that my '64 356 coupe project is so far along that I have to make the concerted effort with time and $$$ to finish that. I don't think this car should be left any longer before somebody does what it needs and then drives it. It really is a nice car, even if it's a '75 and has the 1.8 motor! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) I hope the link below will take you to 71 photos in Snapfish. Car is located in southeastern New Hampshire near the Massachusetts border. Norm http://www5.snapfish.com/comcast/thumbnail...D_NAME=COMCAST/ Asking $3,000.00 or best reasonable offer. direct email is <kwikit356@gmail.com> Mobile # 603-380-2971. |
