I can't remember which was originally on my 72, but I bought another early rear bumper which included a bracket, and it is different. (see pics) The narrow-set one fits the holes in my license plate so I'll be using that one, but I was just wondering what is the story with the other?

I want to say that one of those is a front and the other is a rear--the 'centered' one is rear...
But I could be wrong...could pull my plate off to check... |

The front one has the stand-offs on account of the angle - the blasted one pictured. Plus that wouldn't explain how to mount a plate to the wider-set one. Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |
