QUOTE(seanery @ Apr 15 2004, 03:32 PM) I was trying to get to the tv show Cops website and got this. Looks like a buncha crap to me. Can it be real? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) i've seen that message - usually from sites trying to run IIS on "non-server" OS installations. the "Server" flavor of MicroLimp OS's allows many more users; i think "workstation" allows only 10 simultaneous connections. could be someone added a new box to the server farm and just installed the wrong OS. "workstation" installs work okay in many intranet settings but (as you've seen) are not licensed to handle very many users at a time. (it's all the same OS, just MicroLimp charges a lot more for the 'server' flavor...) |
