It is a sweet car - I suggested that Mark post it over here as 914-related traffic on Pelican is way down.
I could be way off and don't wanna get myself in trouble but I figure the owner (Kevin) would want to see $10K...for the ENGINE. (Alum case high-comp race engine with $3K carbs). 1:34's at Willow is FLYING in any production-based car let alone a 30 year old one with a 2L engine, 225/50 DOT tires, and no aerodynamic aids! I was in awe when I saw the VARA guys turning these kind of lap times a few weeks ago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) I am still in the low-mid 1:40's at the same track in my "similar" car... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) No affiliation with the seller (other than racer-wannabe admiration). |
