Will 16 inch boxter work fine on the 1.7 engine? In other words I know must of you who had a 5 lug conversion also upgraded or changed your motor. Is it wise to do a wheel upgrade with the stock 1,7. Is that too much pull? Please advise.

I ran (5-lug) 15x7 with 225/50 tires for the street and 15x7 with 9" slicks for the track with my stock 1.7L D-Jet motor for years. With flares and wheel spacers and all.
You'd be surprised about the amount of trouble you can get into with just 80 HP ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) |
