OK, help me decide on this.
I am going to tow my AX car (Thomas's 914-6 orphan "The Dark Knight") to the track, and I am ready to look at ONLY used SUV's. My fave's are listed, and no they are not duallies, or capable of towing 5 tons, but they can do 10 flat miles each way once a month. Have a trailer in mind. I just like the Q5 and the Cayenne, so it is either those or something I have not thought of that is made in the USA. I know the mileage will suck, but it will not be a DD. I have one. Thanks! John |

American SUV.
Suburban or Expedition (the big one) are really cheap. Both can tow whatever you can think of. Both get sucky mileage. Cheap, cheap cheap. I use a Eurovan for towing...cheap to buy, cheap on gas...loads of room to hang out at the event, inside. Rich |
