OK, help me decide on this.
I am going to tow my AX car (Thomas's 914-6 orphan "The Dark Knight") to the track, and I am ready to look at ONLY used SUV's. My fave's are listed, and no they are not duallies, or capable of towing 5 tons, but they can do 10 flat miles each way once a month. Have a trailer in mind. I just like the Q5 and the Cayenne, so it is either those or something I have not thought of that is made in the USA. I know the mileage will suck, but it will not be a DD. I have one. Thanks! John |

I got an 09 GMC Acadia, get it with the tow package. Rated at 5200lbs, my Awd version gets 16/22mpg, 14-15 towing. Whats great is that it drives like a car when your not towing (unlike a full size chevy). But an older full size chevy would be cheaper to own and cheaper to fix I'm sure... or I bet the MDX would be more reliable too as I only have 45k on mine and its been to the dealer a couple of times.
