Hi all could I get some input on my 2.0 litre engine,I would like to get more horsepower out of the engine while maintaining the FI system. What I would like to look at mainly are the heads and pistons and exhaust, what possibilities are there and are there other heating systems were I to go to other straight through pipes such as the Kerry Hunter system offered for about 520. I would appreciate any input the group has to offer.
Best Regards Rob Connolly |

There are a few upgrades for the 2.0L:
1. Heads-rebuilt properly and have them ported and flowed. The exhaust can be cleaned up and ported some carefully. 2. Intake manifolds- match port them to the heads 3. Clean or rebuild the injectors 4. Plug air injection system 5. 96mm P&C's 6. Early heat exchangers (73-74) for 2.0L 7. Bursch or Triad mufflers 8. Dyno tune the Djet FI You can squeeze out about 110-115hp out of a 2.0L or 2.1L Geoff |
