Is there an online resource where I can plug in my car's VIN and have it tell me the correct serial numbers for the engine, tranny and also indicate the paint code?

Thanks

Nick

No. You can get a COA that will tell you the options and paint and maybe engine number but at $100 and questionable accuracy.

True - but after 3 tries by PCNA's COA dept., researching everything & documenting to correct their errors, and then calling the GM of the PCNA Customer Care Dept. - I actually got mine correct! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

IIRC regular price is $119 now, but PCA members get $20 off & PCNA gives another $20 off if you send a copy of the window sticker (& maybe dealer BoS/etc.).

However, after you find & write down your VIN, engine & tranny case numbers - then you can call PCNA's 800 #, hit the Customer Care option (#3 IIRC) & ask if they can confirm if they're matching nos. They can look at the digitized Kardex to verify, and you might also ask if the HO & any other applicable Recalls were done on it, cuz they have to do anything not done.

You may have to do a song-n-dance that you'll order the COA thru PCA after your membership is official, but just want to confirm it on your new 914 & want to update them on your new ownership.

OH & .... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png)
