I've red through some of the posts I found here and am still a little confused. I have a 74 with the seat belt relay under the seat. Well, actually, the relay is missing. I know that to keep the car operational one should just connect the two yellow wires. The PO just pulled the relay, then connected a jumper to the two large yellow wires. I've read that when you use that method, leaving the relay out, you lose other functions like the door switches that control the interior light. Is that the case? My door switches (new) aren't getting any power to them. Fuses are all good, but the interior light never comes on.

So...do I just need to replace the relay, and pull the yellow wires from the plastic housing and connect them separately? I've haven't taken a thorough look at the wiring diagram for it, but are there any other functions I would lose from not having the relay connected?

What about the buzzer relay? I did kind of trace that down on the wiring diagram and it looks like it controls just the buzzer when the key is in the ignition and the seat belts are unfastened.

If all I need to get the interior light to work is the relay, I'm all over posting a WTB in the classifieds...
